Your marketer is leaving. Your marketing doesn’t have to.
Whether your Marketing Manager is taking parental leave, a key team member has resigned or recruitment is taking longer than expected, House of Marketing provides experienced remote marketing support to keep plans, campaigns and projects moving.
Rather than supplying a temporary employee, The Marketing Bridge connects the gap between one marketing arrangement and the next. We work as an extension of your business from our Brisbane office, supporting your people, systems and suppliers until your employee returns or a new team member is fully established.
Marketing rarely pauses when someone leaves
Campaigns still need to be managed, agencies still need direction, websites still need updating and sales teams still rely on marketing support. Without clear ownership, activity can slow quickly and senior leaders often inherit work they do not have time to manage.
The Marketing Bridge provides structured marketing continuity during periods of leave, vacancy and transition. We take responsibility for the agreed priorities, maintain communication and keep the function organised while your business determines the longer-term solution.

When The Marketing Bridge can help
- Parental, maternity or paternity leave
- Long service leave or extended leave
- Resignations and unexpected vacancies
- Recruitment delays and employee notice periods
- Interim support while appointing a Marketing Manager or Head of Marketing
- Temporary capacity during growth, campaigns or major projects
- Support for a remaining junior marketing team member
- A structured transition between outsourced and in-house marketing arrangements
Remote support from an established marketing team
The Marketing Bridge is delivered remotely from the House of Marketing office. It is not a temporary staff placement or an onsite contractor arrangement.
We integrate with your existing systems, communication channels and approval processes, attend regular Teams or Zoom meetings and work closely with the relevant people in your business. Where appropriate, we can attend key planning sessions or workshops onsite, but day-to-day delivery is managed remotely.
This model gives your business access to an experienced marketing lead and a wider specialist team, without needing to recruit, onboard, supervise and accommodate another temporary employee.
- Marketing strategy and planning
- Campaign coordination and delivery
- Digital advertising and media management
- Content planning, copywriting and communications
- Website updates and digital projects
- Brand, design and creative coordination
- Agency and supplier management
- Marketing budgets, reporting and analysis
- Sales and stakeholder support
- Mentoring and direction for internal marketing employees
- Documentation and handover planning
What we can assist you with

A temporary employee brings one person and one set of skills. House of Marketing provides a dedicated marketing lead backed by specialists across strategy, content, design, websites, digital advertising, SEO, analytics and marketing systems.
Once priorities, responsibilities and approval processes are agreed, we work independently and keep the right people informed without requiring constant direction. The business receives continuity, broader capability and a clear handover at the end of the engagement.

How the service works
- Discovery and handover
We meet with the departing employee and key stakeholders to understand current plans, priorities, campaigns, suppliers, deadlines, systems and approval processes. - Define responsibilities
We agree on what HOM will manage, what remains with the internal team and how communication, decisions and approvals will be handled. - Integrate with the business
We access the required platforms and files, establish meeting and reporting rhythms and connect with relevant internal and external stakeholders. - Deliver the agreed marketing program
HOM takes responsibility for the agreed work, coordinates suppliers and provides regular progress updates and reporting. - Prepare the handover
When the employee returns or a new person starts, we provide a clear handover covering completed work, current activity, upcoming priorities, access and recommendations.
For recruitment consultants and HR partners
The Marketing Bridge also gives recruitment consultants and HR advisers an immediate solution to offer clients while a permanent marketing appointment is underway.
The recruitment partner remains responsible for finding the right long-term employee. HOM keeps the client’s marketing function organised and active while that work takes place. This reduces pressure to rush a placement and helps the incoming employee inherit campaigns, suppliers, reporting and priorities in better order.
The value to the recruitment partner is the ability to provide a practical solution, strengthen the client relationship and retain the permanent recruitment assignment.
If the client’s requirements later change and the temporary arrangement converts into an ongoing HOM engagement, the referring recruitment partner may receive an agreed conversion referral fee. If HOM identifies a need for permanent recruitment, we can refer that opportunity back to the recruitment partner. The intention is to complement recruitment, not compete with it.

Frequently asked questions
Is the service delivered onsite?
The service is primarily delivered remotely from the House of Marketing office. This enables us to provide consistent support and involve the right specialists as required. We may attend selected planning sessions, workshops or key meetings onsite where appropriate.
How quickly can HOM begin?
Timing depends on current availability and the complexity of the role, but an established outsourced team can generally begin more quickly than a traditional recruitment and onboarding process.
Do you replace the existing marketing employee?
No. The service is designed to maintain continuity until an employee returns, a permanent replacement is appointed or the business confirms a different longer-term marketing structure.
Can you work with our existing agencies and suppliers?
Yes. We regularly manage and coordinate advertising agencies, designers, developers, media providers, photographers, printers and other marketing suppliers.
Can you support a junior or senior marketing role?
Yes. The engagement can be structured around coordination, marketing management, team leadership or senior strategic support.
How is the service priced?
Pricing is based on the level of responsibility, expected weekly or monthly allocation, engagement length and specialist support required. Options may include a monthly retainer, an agreed weekly allocation or a day-rate arrangement.
Bridge the gap without putting your marketing on hold.
Whether your marketer is preparing for parental leave, has resigned unexpectedly or your recruitment process is taking longer than planned, House of Marketing can provide the structure, capability and continuity needed to keep marketing moving.
