About the Author
I help businesses bring structure, consistency and clear direction to their marketing.
With more than 30 years of experience across marketing, communications and business strategy, I work closely with business owners and senior teams to understand where their business is heading, what is getting in the way and where marketing can make a real difference.
As the founder of House of Marketing, I lead a team that provides strategic marketing advice and ongoing implementation. We work as an extension of our clients’ businesses, giving them access to experienced marketing leadership and a reliable team without the complexity of building and managing a full in-house department.
The values I bring to my work are the same ones we live by at HOM: be kind, have integrity, always learn, embrace change, say it like it is and do what you say.
My experience
I have worked with large, complex organisations as well as established small and medium-sized businesses across a wide range of industries.
My experience covers:
- Marketing strategy and planning
- Ongoing marketing management and implementation
- Brand development and management
- Digital marketing and advertising
- SEO and AI search optimisation
- Campaign planning and delivery
- Content, social media and communications
- Websites and digital projects
- CRM, AI and marketing systems
- Reporting, analysis and improvement
I particularly enjoy helping growing organisations that need greater structure, stronger marketing leadership and a team they can trust to get things done.
AI, search and changing marketing
Marketing has changed enormously over the past 30 years, from the growth of digital and social media through to search, automation and now AI.
AI is changing the way people search for information, research businesses and make decisions, and a growing part of my work with the HOM team is understanding what those changes mean in practice.
I genuinely enjoy working with AI and seeing how quickly the technology is developing. Our team is continually learning, testing new tools and adapting the way we work, while making sure we don’t simply add to the growing amount of average AI-generated content online.
I recently completed the Australian Marketing Institute’s AI Marketing Accelerator to build on my working knowledge and stay up to date as the space continues to evolve. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve now signed up for a longer AI training program that I’ll be working through over the next few months.
We apply what we learn across AI search, SEO, content and website strategy, helping our clients understand where AI can add real value to their marketing.
